“ Dined here on Friday October 27, 2023. I love fine dining so I had high expectations. They did not disappoint! Had a classy vibe everything was fresh and flavorful. One of the owners stopped by for a quick chat and made us feel welcome. Everything we ate was good and these days restaurants food quality is key but hit or miss. If you are coming to Chico, just know dining at The Grill will be money well spent. ”

“ Best kept secrete in Chico. Im hesitant to write a review since Im worried the place will become too busy. But I want them to be successful so that they stay open. Best atmosphere, quality, and value for breakfast and dinner. You can make reservations shortly before your arrival. There is plenty of room for larger groups. Bloody Mary, chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict are amongst the best in Chico. They have a great happy hour menu, and the French dip and chicken sandwich is on point. Service is always wonderful. Its my goto spot whenever I have guests in town or to get together with friends. Try it once, and youll keep coming back! I could keep going on, but you get the point. ”
“ Weve been coming to The Hotel Diamond since it opened and over the years, weve eaten at all of the restaurants attached the hotel. The other night I came in to the hotel at 800 pm and ran into friends who were also there for a late bite. We sat at a bar table and ordered a cocktail and a meal. Our group grew and the servers kindly kept expanding our table and taking more orders. Kudos to them for their flexibility. Ive come to not expect too much of the food at hotel restaurants, but oh WOW!!! We were all so happily surprised by the quality of our meals. I had the steak salad. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavor the rest of the ingredients complemented each other beautifully and I easily could have split it with someone especially at that hour, but I didnt because I had to finish it! All of my friends were equally impressed by their meals. And dont let me forget one of the best Old Fashions Ive ever had. In summary, the ambience was great, the staff was friendly, patient and helpful, the food was fantastic and I cant wait to be back in Chico...next week! Ooooh...What shall I have??? ”

“ My husband and I and our children went there for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was fresh delicious. The Caesar salad was big enough to feed four of us. The steaks were delicious. I recommend the grill to anybody thats looking to not spend a ton of money and have a great service and great food! ”
